A  s m a l l centre of great craftsmanship with a cultural hinterland and traditions rooted in the land and in woodworking. Sculptures of country art and typical Aosta Valley furniture, reworked by an expert hand with imagination and originality. Here you will find objects of great interest capable of satisfying connoisseurs and curious alike. But Saint-Nicolas also has a rich literary culture. The Centre d'Etudes Francoprovençales plays host to linguistic and ethnographic conferences and its library provides detailed documentation on the Alpine civilisation.
